Accepting these terms

By using delaypayer.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the Site.

What DelayPayer is — and isn't

DelayPayer provides general information and free tools about flight-disruption compensation and passenger rights. We are not a law firm and not a claims agency, and nothing on the Site is legal advice. Using DelayPayer creates no attorney–client relationship. We do not file claims on your behalf, represent you, take a power of attorney, or collect your personal data. For decisions that depend on your specific situation, contact the airline, your national enforcement body, or a licensed lawyer — see our legal & disclaimers page for the full notice.

Using the Site

  • You may use DelayPayer for your own personal research about a flight disruption.
  • Don't misuse it: no automated scraping that burdens the service, no attempts to breach security, and no unlawful use.
  • Don't republish our content or tools as your own. You're welcome to link to us and quote briefly with attribution.

No guarantee of compensation

Any verdict or amount our tools display is a preliminary estimate, not a guarantee that you will be paid. Outcomes depend on facts we can't verify — above all the cause of the disruption — and the final decision rests with the airline, a court, or the regulator.

Accuracy and "as is"

We work hard to be accurate and build from official sources, but regulations and case law change. The Site, its content, and its tools are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Always confirm the current position with the relevant regulator before you act on it.

Affiliate links and third parties

Some links on the Site are paid affiliate links to claims firms (see how we make money). We also link to third-party companies and regulators that we don't control and aren't responsible for. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and them; review their terms before signing up.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DelayPayer and the people who operate it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site, its tools, or any third-party service we link to. Decisions you make based on the information here are your own.

Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, and tools are owned by DelayPayer or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may share links and brief quotations with attribution; please don't copy substantial portions or reproduce our tools without permission.

Changes to the Site and these terms

We may update the Site and these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above; continuing to use the Site means you accept the current terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Where a specific forum is required, they are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DelayPayer's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
